Kuzma is the headliner of the deal for the Pacers. He had to accept a reduced role with the Lakers last season, and did so willingly. But now that he already has a title at age 25, will Kuzma want an increased role somewhere else?

Indiana could provide him with a much bigger role than the Lakers as of now, for a chance to expand his numbers as he prepares for his next contract.

The Pacers would also acquire Lakers fan-favorite Alex Caruso, who has built himself into an impressive player after he was battling in the Summer League four years ago.

Green would be able to fill the role of Oladipo, and he’d provide range from beyond the arc to help stretch opposing defenses.

The first round pick is not a high pick, but it would give the Pacers a chance to select a player at No. 28 overall, or package that pick in a separate trade for another asset.
