The Hypothetical Trade (via Bleacher Report)
Knicks Receive: No. 4 overall pick
Bulls Receive: Kevin Knox, No. 8 overall pick, No. 38 overall pick
While this trade may not be a huge deal, the Knicks being able to move up to No. 4 overall could make a ton of sense. Knox simply doesn’t seem to be working out and trading the No. 8 and a second-round pick to move up along with the youngster could be a perfect move.
With the No. 4 overall pick, the Knicks could go out and draft Iowa State point guard Tyrese Haliburton. Or, they could go a different route with a guy like Memphis center James Wiseman if he falls.
As for the Bulls, bringing in a young piece like Knox would be worth the gamble. They could also drop down to the No. 8 pick and snag Killian Hayes.
Let’s take a deeper look at why these teams should pull the trigger on this trade.
