New York Knicks
The New York Knicks have had multiple chances to acquire Kyle Kuzma in the past, and to this point they’ve passed on various offers. But could these two teams match up this offseason?
Back in February, the Lakers reportedly offered Kuzma and Danny Green in a trade package to the Knicks in exchange for Marcus Morris.
The Knicks rejected that deal, and countered with one that would send Kuzma to New York along with DeMarcus Cousins, Avery Bradley and a second-round pick.
The two teams couldn’t come to an agreement, but it’s clear there was a willingness on both sides to consider a trade of Kuzma.
Kuzma would fit into the Knicks’ young core and would have the opportunity to play under Tom Thibodeau in his first season as the Knicks’ head coach.
