New York Knicks
If LaMelo Ball is still on the board at No. 3 in the NBA Draft order, it would not be a surprise to see the New York Knicks make a move to trade up.
The Knicks could also consider moving up to No. 2, with the Warriors, if Ball is available. But if things shake out differently, and Ball is not among the top 2 picks, New York makes a lot of sense as a trade partner for the Charlotte Hornets.
The Knicks’ offer would begin with the No. 8 overall pick, and it would also include the No. 27 overall pick.
New York may have to throw in more, but their two first round picks this year place them firmly in the running.
The Knicks are looking for a star that could be gone by their original pick at No. 8, but New York could have the ability to move up if the right team is willing to trade down.
