Houston Rockets Receive: Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: Robert Covington, PJ Tucker
This trade gives the Pacers two players, each of whom has unique skills.
Robert Covington has shot 35 percent from beyond the arc in his career, and he’s a versatile defender as well. He’d give Indiana a player who can score in bursts and defend multiple positions.
PJ Tucker is a bit of an anomaly on defense. He’s an excellent defender who, in Houston’s previous system, was often tasked with guarding bigger players due to Houston’s overall lack of size.
Tucker would bring excellent defense to the Pacers, and the 35 year-old is versatile enough to play multiple positions.
