Portland Trail Blazers

On the topic of reunions and coming full circle, the ideal spot for LaMarcus Aldridge may be back where his career began, with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Back in April, speaking to Michael C. Wright, Aldridge addressed his exit from Portland, and the possibility of going back to the Pacific Northwest to end his career.

“As I think about it, I would be cool with ending (my career) in two places, either with San Antonio, or in Portland,” Aldridge said.

Aldridge also discussed his improved relationship with Blazers star Damian Lillard.

“It’s no secret that Dame and my relationship has gotten a whole lot better,” Aldridge told Wright. “We’ve had some good talks over the years and we definitely understand each other better.”

Portland is a perennial playoff team, and if they acquire Aldridge, he’d have a chance to make a playoff run back where it all began.
