Washington Wizards
When watching the Washington Wizards, it’s quite apparent there is an incredible reliance on Bradley Beal to create offensively. Whether it’s with the ball in his hands or running around off-ball screens, he is just about their only source of reliable scoring.
John Wall will be back in the lineup next season, and that should help if it all goes according to plan. However, it remains to be seen how effective he will be after missing so much time and coming off an Achilles injury.
Making a move for a player with the skill-set of Blake Griffin would provide the Wizards with an intriguing screener in pick-and-roll situations while bolster their rebounding capabilities. He’d have the kind of support he has lacked during most of his time with the Detroit Pistons.
There would still be a need for the Wizards to improve in the rim protection department. Washington had arguably the worst defense in the league last season and will need to reconfigure the roster at the center spot to rectify that.
