This massive three-team trade would involve Pacers’ Myles Turner, Warriors’ No. 2 pick

Why It Makes Sense For The Warriors

Just like the Pacers, this is an obvious move for the Warriors to make should it present itself. Being able to acquire a big man like Myles Turner and the No. 6 overall pick would be a perfect move.

If the Warriors want to compete with the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference, they need to bring in a rim protector. They cannot have a defense that LeBron James and Anthony Davis can feast on in the paint. Turner is one of the NBA’s elite paint defenders.

Turner averaged 12.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game last season with Indiana. Those numbers show why the Warriors should pursue him.

Moving Andrew Wiggins to the Hawks would be a tough move to make, but it is a necessary move. Wiggins for Turner would be a smart move alone, but the No. 6 overall pick puts the icing on top of the cake for the Warriors.
