Boston Celtics Receive: Rudy Gobert, Ed Davis, Georges Niang

Utah Jazz Receive: Gordon Hayward, Daniel Theis, No. 14 Pick (via MEM)

The Utah Jazz would need Gordon Hayward to decide to opt-in for the $34.1 million player option he has this offseason in order to be able to make this trade work. The only other option is that he opts-out, but chooses to return to Utah in free agency.

Assuming Hayward opts-in, the Jazz would be taking on $39.2 million in cap spending while the Boston Celtics would be bringing in $32.6 million.

The cap hit that Utah would face for the player selected with the No. 14 pick would be just over $3.0 million next season. Overall, that would bring their total salary intake to $42.2 million with all things considered.
