The New York Knicks need a star to appease their fan base, and an acquisition of Paul George could be a good place to start.

The Knicks have young players with potential, but what New York is missing is an All Star who can come in and lead its young roster.

While George would be the only star on the roster, he could team up with new Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau, who typically isn’t keen to rebuild.

If the Knicks were to acquire George, they’d be able to circumvent the free agent market, which so often spurns New York in favor of better situations elsewhere.
