Los Angeles Lakers Receive: Derrick Rose
Detroit Pistons Receive: Avery Bradley, Alex Caruso, 2021 first-round pick
This trade would require Avery Bradley to opt-in to the final season of his current contract. Bradley has a player option for the 2020-21 season worth $5 million.
It remains to be seen if Bradley opts-in, but he did not play in the NBA bubble and could have $5 million simply by opting in.
The Pistons would acquire Bradley and Alex Caruso in this deal in exchange for Rose. Bradley would return to Detroit, where he played in 40 games during the 2017-18 season.
Caruso has become a fan favorite in Los Angeles, but if the Lakers can improve their roster by trading him, they should consider it.
