3 contenders who should push for a Chris Paul trade this offseason

1. Milwaukee Bucks

There may not be a team with more of a pressing need to achieve immediate results in 2021 than the Milwaukee Bucks. At 35-years-old, Chris Paul is also in need of getting results right away, too.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo entering the final year of his current contract, the Bucks must be willing to exercise every option they face. Being willing to take on the substantial contract of Paul needs to be among them.

There’s a lot to like about what Eric Bledsoe generally brings to the table, but there are limitations. Swapping him out with Paul would keep the defensive contributions at a high-level while improving the passing and shot creation of the unit.

The thought of Paul operating with Giannis Antetokounmpo as a screener in pick-and-roll is fascinating. It would bring the best out of the two-time MVP when the Bucks need it the most.
