5 trade options for the Golden State Warriors with the No. 2 pick in NBA Draft

Trade Package for Joel Embiid

If Joel Embiid were to become available, the Golden State Warriors would absolutely be interested. As would several other teams. The problem, of course, is Doc Rivers is likely going to build around Embiid in Philadelphia, not trade him.

But the Sixers have had their share of problems in the past, and the Warriors could make an offer that starts with this No. 2 pick.

Golden State could offer something along the lines of the No. 2 pick, a 2021 first round pick (via Minnesota) and Andrew Wiggins.

Philadelphia could use the No. 2 pick, for example, on James Wiseman, and have a replacement for Embiid in the front court.

Embiid likely won’t be available, but if he is, the Warriors should be among the teams who put in a call.
