Let’s discuss perhaps the most obvious choice first. Victor Oladipo continues to be linked to the Heat, and it will likely continue until or unless he dons another team’s uniform.

The Heat have a few options for acquiring Oladipo. Miami could try to swing a trade for the 28 year old guard, as many believe the Pacers will look to trade him.

But even if the two sides cannot come to terms on a trade, Oladipo can be a free agent after the 2021 season.

Miami could simply play the long game on Oladipo, and wait for the allure of Pat Riley and South Beach to pull Oladipo down to Florida, as it did with LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and even Butler.
