Derrick Rose, at this stage of his career, is no longer considered a superstar. But he could be an ideal target for the Lakers, with a salary that would allow Los Angeles to add additional pieces.
Rose has experience playing with James from their time together in Cleveland, so he knows the standard that James demands from teammates.
He could run alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but Rose also has enough versatility to come off the bench and lead the Lakers’ second unit.
The Pistons are in the midst of a rebuild, and Rose shouldn’t be too expensive to acquire in a trade.
