5 stars the Bucks should try to pair with Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks are in an unenviable position this offseason. The reigning MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo has all the leverage over his future, and the threat of his departure would obviously change Milwaukee’s standing in the Eastern Conference.

As of now, Antetokounmpo has not demanded a trade out of Milwaukee, so the Bucks should try to pair him with a star in an effort to convince him to stay.

Antetokounmpo is entering the final year of his contract, in which he’ll make $27.5 million. He can depart after the 2021 season, a possibly which has been lurking in Milwaukee for years.

It may be unlikely that he walks away from the Bucks. Antetokounmpo is extremely loyal, and may feel the need to finish what he started in Milwaukee. But the Bucks cannot stand pat and hope he stays simply out of loyalty.

Here are five stars the Bucks should try to pair with Antetokounmpo in what could be his final season in Milwaukee.
