A Pair of Veterans for Holiday

Bulls acquire Jrue Holiday

Pelicans acquire Thaddeus Young, Cristiano Felicio, Luke Kornet, 2020 No. 4 overall pick

Regardless of Porter Jr.’s opt-in, the Bulls could offer a package of veteran forwards and a pick in exchange for Holiday.

Thaddeus Young would be the anchor of this trade going back to New Orleans. He’d provide the Pelicans with years of experience and a veteran option behind Zion Williamson.

Felicio is 28, and he would add to the Pelicans’ front court depth.

Kornet is just 25, and at 7’2″ he would provide immediate size in the front court for the Pelicans.

The first round pick is the added bonus for New Orleans over the first trade, and would serve as an additional asset. The Pelicans could hold onto the pick, or flip it for another veteran.
