Pelicans acquire Otto Porter Jr., Chandler Hutchison, 2020 No. 4 overall pick

There is an obvious match of salaries between these two teams if Otto Porter Jr. opts into the final year of his contract, as expected.

Porter has dealt with injuries in the past, but when he’s healthy, he could provide the Pelicans with solid defense, and consistent three point shooting.

Porter Jr. is still just 27, so he should have productive years ahead of him, provided he can stay healthy.

For the Bulls, they’d be replacing one veteran with another. If Donovan feels Holiday is a fit for the roster and his vision, this is a trade worth exploring for Chicago.
