Why the Bucks Should Do It
As of now, the Bucks are uncertain of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s long-term plans. Similarly to when Kevin Durant left the Thunder, if Antetokounmpo were to depart, the Bucks could go from contender to afterthought.
The Bucks should do this trade (or a trade which Antetokounmpo wants) in order to entice him to stay, but also to try to win.
Oladipo is a star when he’s healthy, and pairing him with Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton is an exciting trio, in addition to Brook Lopez.
The toughest part of this trade for Milwaukee is parting with Bledsoe, but it would absolutely be worth it to acquire Oladipo.
