2. Washington Wizards
If Karl-Anthony Towns is truly disgruntled in Minnesota, why not try and trade him for another disgruntled star in D.C.? This is suggesting that the Wolves and Wizards pull off a swap of Towns for Bradley Beal.
Beal in Minnesota would take their backcourt to a different level along with Russell. This would leave them thin in the frontcourt but let’s not forget that they do hold the first-overall pick in this year’s draft. It has been labeled a weak draft but a player like James Wiseman would be an option.
For Towns, Washington would be a good fit if John Wall could ever get back on the court. The duo would be lethal in pick-and-roll scenarios because Towns could roll to the basket or step out and shoot from deep.
This is the biggest blockbuster on the board because of the level of each player involved. Beal has been unhappy in Washington for quite some time now. The Wizards are an interesting team to keep an eye on.
