Celtics acquire Paul George and Terance Mann from Los Angeles

Clippers acquire Kemba Walker and Daniel Theis from Boston

This trade would see two stars change area codes, in Paul George and Kemba Walker. It would also add to the Clippers’ front court depth in Theis, and give the Celtics a 23 year-old propsect in Mann.

If George is going to be traded — and that remains an ‘if’ — it wouldn’t be to a team that is rebuilding, it would be to a team that views him as its missing piece.

George has plenty of experience in the Eastern Conference playoffs, and his familiarity with the conference could help his hypothetical transition out of Los Angeles.
