Detroit Pistons: Gary Harris, G, Denver Nuggets
This one would require the Nuggets to be willing to part with Harris, but due to upcoming cap constraints, it’s plausible.
This could be a way for the Pistons to gain a draft pick in exchange for absorbing Harris’ salary, as Detroit has ample cap space. Any NBA Draft asset they can get would be valuable.
The Pistons still have Derrick Rose under contract, as well as Blake Griffin, so there’s a real veteran presence on this team.
Harris could return to Michigan (he played his college basketball at Michigan State) and could provide a spark for the Pistons when needed.
