Milwaukee Bucks: Buddy Hield, G, Sacramento Kings
Hield, much like Ball, has already bounced around the league during his young career. He’s currently with Sacramento, a team who is in the process of restructuring its front office.
Vlade Divac is out, and Monte McNair now calls the shots in California’s capital. Although it feels like much longer, it was just nine months ago that Hield complained of “trust issues” within the team, pertaining to his playing time.
When someone new is given control of the roster, as McNair was, it’s always a situation worth watching closely. McNair surely has a vision for how the Kings can get back on track, but if it does not include Hield, he could be on the move.
Hield would give the Bucks another scorer who loves the green light to shoot when he’s on the floor. This is assuming, of course, that Antetokounmpo stays for the 2020-21 NBA season. Hield alone will not fix all of Milwaukee’s issues, but he could provide another scoring option alongside Giannis.
