5 stars the Nuggets should pursue via trade to take the next step

The Denver Nuggets put together a spectacular playoff run and saw it come to an end at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. The series came to an end in just five games.

It’s clear there is a size-able gap between the Lakers and the Nuggets based on how the series played out. Additionally, the Warriors will be back next season and there are no shortage of ascending teams in the Western Conference that will improve with time.

The time is now for the Nuggets to make win-now moves to bolster their roster. Nikola Jokic is already elite at his position and Jamal Murray is quickly ascending in his own right. Meanwhile, Michael Porter Jr. has displayed intriguing potential as well.

There are a few parts of the Nuggets’ roster that could use some fine-tuning this offseason. If Denver were to bring in a high-impact talent this offseason, they could build off what they achieved this season and take it to another level in 2021.

Let’s take a look at five star players the Denver Nuggets should pursue via trade to take the next step as a team.
