Bleacher Report listed the Warriors as a potential intriguing trade destination for Victor Oladipo this offseason. They also gave an idea for a potential deal between the Warriors and Pacers that could make sense for both parties involved.

In their deal, B/R suggested that the Warriors could send Andrew Wiggins, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, and a 2021 first-round pick to the Pacers in exchange for Oladipo and sharpshooter Doug McDermott.

Why would the Pacers make that move? Wiggins is a solid piece, who averaged 21.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game last season. He would help replace the production lost by moving on from Oladipo.

Indiana would also receive the Warriors’ No. 2 overall pick in the draft, which could be used to select LaMelo Ball, Killian Hayes, Obi Toppin, or another talented prospect. Adding another first-round pick in 2021 would also be of interest to Kevin Pritchard and company.

As for the Warriors, this move makes sense to form a “Big Three” of Oladipo, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson. They would move a lot of talent, but it might pay off if Oladipo returns to All-Star form.

Obviously, this would be a massive move for both the Pacers and Warriors. There is a very good chance that Oladipo begins the season in Indiana. If the team isn’t competing very well, the Pacers could then look to move him at the NBA trade deadline.

Expect to hear a ton of rumors surround Victor Oladipo this offseason. The Warriors may not get involved, but they could make sense. For the Pacers, this will be a very intriguing offseason to watch.
