3. Anthony Edwards

There is no certainty on who will be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, but Anthony Edwards has emerged as the favorite over names like LaMelo Ball and James Wiseman. The Warriors have the second pick in the draft but the uncertainty of what the Minnesota Timberwolves will do landed Edwards on this list.

The Warriors have voiced their interest in adding a wing in the draft. Edwards is a player who could benefit from playing with Curry and Thompson. He averaged 19.1 points per game at Georgia and did it from all over the floor.

Edwards showed incredible athleticism and has a wingspan of 6’9. This parlayed with his quickness is a reason Edwards could turn into a strong defender along the perimeter.

Edwards struggled from three-point range at Georgia, shooting just 29.4%. On a team like the Warriors, he will not have to act as a three-point threat and could focus on defense and getting to the rim. If Edwards is there, he will be the pick for the Warriors but it is unknown if he will be around.
