Turner Would Not Demand Shots

Finally, the Rockets need to find a guy that will mesh well with James Harden and Russell Westbrook while still being able to defend the rim and shoot the three.

Myles Turner has never been the guy to demand shots. In fact, he has been criticized at times with the Pacers for not being aggressive enough. That would be a quality that would be valuable for a team that doesn’t have a ton of shots to go around.

Most of his looks would come off of kickout passes from the two star guards. If he’s open, the Rockets will expect Turner to fire. That would fit his game well.

Gone would be the days of Turner questioning when to shoot the ball. He would have the green light to shoot any open shot he gets. However, the team chemistry would still be on point due to Turner not “needing” the ball.
