Much-Needed Elite Rim Protection

If one thing has become clear for the Rockets this season, it is the fact that they need some help protecting the rim. P.J. Tucker is a good defender, but he is not big enough to change shots. Myles Turner would absolutely fill that void.

Houston needs to build their roster to be able to compete with teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. With guys like Lebron James, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George, being able to defend the rim is a must.

Turner has gone up against some of the toughest offensive players. He knows how to defend at an elite level and should have received more hype as a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

The Rockets would improve drastically on the defensive end of the floor by acquiring Turner.
