The Presence Of Luka Doncic

Let’s just be honest about this for a minute. Kawhi Leonard will be viewed as the best player in this series, but Luka Doncic is capable of changing that view.

Throughout the 2019-20 NBA season, Doncic has averaged 29 points per game to go along with 9.5 rebounds and 9.0 assists. He has shot 46.2 percent from the field overall and 31.5 percent from three-point range. While he has some work to do from the three-point line, those numbers are insane.

Doncic is capable of putting up massive triple-double numbers on any given night. He can score at will and makes his teammates better around him.

Dallas is one of the few teams with a do-it-all superstar like Doncic. He is capable of taking over this series and that gives the Mavericks a fighting chance.
