Joe Harris
The Los Angeles Lakers must find a way to surround Anthony Davis and LeBron James with shooters. Not just guys willing to take the shot but guys who will knock them down. Joe Harris is just the guy for the job.
Each season, Harris has upped his game. During the 2019-20 season with the Brooklyn Nets, Harris has averaged 14.4 points while hitting .425 percent of his shot from deep.
Harris is a marksman and one that the Nets may fight to keep to pair with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant next season. However, a team like the Lakers could find a way to lure Harris away if the money is right.
With Durant expected to be healthy for next season, Harris will probably see fewer minutes thanks to Durant and the reemergence of Caris LeVert.
Adding Harris will mean that Frank Vogel can open the offense more. This season, Vogel has had a revolving door and the SG position with lineups that include the likes of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Avery Bradley, Danny Green, and now JR Smith and Dion Waiters.
Where is the consistency? The Lakers are ranked 22nd in three-pointers attempted, 24rd in three’s made and 22nd in percentage. They need help.
