Can They Hold Off The Blazers?

The Memphis Grizzlies’ main goal down in Orlando is to walk away with a championship. However, their first order of business is staying in the playoff race. With each team scheduled to play eight games each, the Grizzles do not have too much room for error.

Sitting just 3.5 games ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers for the 8th playoff spot, the Grizzlies will have their hands full.

Damian Lillard, C.J. McCollum, and Carmelo Anthony are veterans and will be banking on the notion that the Grizzles and their young core will fall victim to the pressure. Right off the bat, the Grizzles and Blazers will do battle in their first game of the resumption.

If the Blazers walk away victorious, that will shrink the Grizzles lead down to 2.5 games. From there it will get interesting.

The Blazers will face the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, and Boston Celtics in their remaining games. The Grizzles will do battle against the San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Pelicans, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors, Celtics, and Milwaukee Bucks.
