3. Pau Gasol

Pau Gasol is one of the best international players ever in the NBA. He is a six-time All-Star and was named NBA Rookie of the Year after averaging 17.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game for the Memphis Grizzlies.

In 2008, the Grizzlies sent Gasol and a 2010 second round pick to the Lakers for Kwame Brown, Javaris Crittenton, Aaron McKie, the draft rights to Marc Gasol, and first round picks in 2008 and 2010. This trade worked well in the Lakers favor as Gasol complimented Kobe Bryant well and was apart of back-to-back championships. Gasol averaged 17.7 points and 9.9 rebounds in seven years with the Lakers.

Gasol went on to spend two years with the Chicago Bulls and two with the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs and Gasol agreed to a buyout during the 2018-19 season. Two days after being bought out, the Milwaukee Bucks decided to add the veteran center. After just three games, Gasol suffered an ankle injury that cost him the rest of the season.

Gasol made it clear prior to the 2019-20 season that he wanted to re-sign with the Bucks. He is currently not on an NBA roster but has not officially announced his retirement. We have may already seen the last of Gasol in the NBA and if so, he gave us an incredible show.
