This is a list of teams that should consider pursuing a trade for Oladipo. The Knicks should be at the top of every list involving a star player. This is something they have not had since they traded Carmelo Anthony. Will it happen? Probably not. The Knicks can never get anything done. But they need to look into it wholeheartedly.

The Knicks have vowed to rebuild in the draft. They have not done a good job. Frank Ntilikina and Kevin Knox have been busts. R.J. Barrett showed promise during his rookie season, but he is not a finished product and needs a ton of help. Mitchell Robinson is the Knicks’ hottest commodity right now. Not to mention, the team does not have a coach.

New York has been interviewing candidates but they need to stop wasting time and hire Tom Thibodeau. This team is far from turning it around and they need a star to expedite the process. The Knicks have swung and missed in the draft, hired putrid head coaches, and missed out on big name free agents. It is time that they make a big splash in the trade market.
