Scoring Versatility

LaMelo Ball is a natural-born finisher. Whether he’s pulling up and hitting a long-range three or driving to the hoop and dunking over an opposition, he’s an electric scorer. Although he struggled to find his touch from downtown in his short stint with Illawarra this past season, Ball possesses a smooth stroke and has shown to ability drain catch and shoot three’s.

Ball has cat-like reflexes with the rock in his hands. He has outstanding handles and thanks to his quickness, the youngster is able to stop and go on a dime, which makes him very hard to defend against. It’s not very often you find a 6 foot 7 guard who can move around this well.

From that reason alone, he tends to use his athleticism to take on defenders and finish at the hoop. Ball also plays with a ton of flare, a rare trait to see in a player this young.
