2. More Star Power To Compete For A Ring

Miami fans fondly remember having a star-studded roster when LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh were running the show. Back in those days, the Heat were nearly impossible to beat. They were a lock to make the NBA Finals from the Eastern Conference.

Now, bringing in Griffin would not take the Heat back to that level of dominance. But, he would be more star power to play alongside Jimmy Butler and rising star big man Bam Adebayo.

Add in a young player with huge potential that the Heat have in Tyler Herro and shooters like Duncan Robinson and Miami looks even scarier. Opponents would have to choose between focusing on Griffin or Butler. That is a situation that Pat Riley and company would love to put themselves in.
