1. The Last Dance

Last week Chris Paul turned 35 years old and he still can play at a high level. His current contract runs through the end of the 2020-21 season with a player option for the summer of 2021.

Considering that Paul is in the Western Conference with the Thunder and is in sixth place, imagine what he could do in the Eastern Conference.

Regardless of the lack of success over the years for the Knicks, Paul is one of the few players with the competitive drive to accept the challenge. Playing in Madison Square Garden can be a player’s dream or nightmare.

The 6-foot-1 guard will thrive in the Garden both on and of the court. Despite the success with the Thunder, the market size doesn’t always help with player retention.

A trade to New York will provide Paul with another chance to play on the big stage one more time and explore future business endeavors.

No matter how the season and offseason pans out, the Knicks need to pursue Paul.
