3 reasons the Rockets are looking to trade Clint Capela

1. Injury issues

Capela was ruled out of the lineup for four to six weeks in mid-January after having thumb surgery. Now, it looks as if he’ll miss more time with a heel injury. The rumor is that it could be plantar fascitis.

If this is true, Capela will be a shell of himself until he can get substantial rest. This has to be a huge factor for Houston. They want to win a championship desperately.

The Rockets have made a wide variety of moves to get Harden some offensive help. Capela may no longer fit the mold of what Houston is looking to do to propel themselves towards an NBA Finals appearance.
