2. The Bucks Need A Lethal Three-Point Threat
JJ Redick has been one of the best three-point shooters in the entire NBA since entering the league. There are very few players who are capable of shooting the ball at the level that he has. And there are even fewer players who can shoot the ball at the level he does in the way he does it.
Milwaukee wouldn’t just be getting a spot-up shooter if they acquired Redick. They would be getting a guy who moves extremely well without the ball and can come off of screens hard into a shot. Redick’s ability would make the Bucks’ offense nearly impossible to defend.
On the season, Redick is shooting 46 percent from beyond the arc. He has done that on a Pelicans’ team that doesn’t have a star like Antetokounmpo. Redick would get even more open looks, which could help him shoot at an even better clip.
