Zion Williamson focused on landings and flexibility in rehab

Zion Williamson is set to make his debut on Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs. While the New Orleans Pelicans could not be more excited to welcome him back, there are also some nerves about his return. Obviously, Williamson is coming back from a serious injury that kept him out half of the season.

In a report shared by Andrew Lopez of ESPN, Williams said that he has been focusing on his landings and flexibility to get ready for his return to the court.

Needless to say, the NBA world will be watching when Williams takes the floor for the first time in the regular season as a member of the Pelicans. He has been touted as the best prospect since LeBron James and has a lot of hype to live up to.

Hopefully, Williamson is fully recovered and does not have any more issues for the rest of the season. New Orleans is hoping to make a playoff run with Williamson leading the way and they have ended trade discussions about current veteran players. They obviously feel that Williamson has that kind of talent.

All of that being said, make sure to tune in and watch Williamson. His landings and flexibility are definitely going to come into play and it’s interesting to get into his head a bit about the process that he has been going through.
