The Memphis Grizzlies are currently riding the longest active winning streak in the NBA after coming out in top in seven consecutive outings.

As a result of their recent surge, the Grizzlies currently approaching a .500 record as they sit at 20-22. Their overall body of work in 2019-20 has slotted them in the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings at the moment.

For a team full of young talent, it’s genuinely impressive to see the Grizzlies experiencing this level of success this early. The recent winning streak they have managed to put together has shown lots of reason for optimism for their future, in particular.

Something that has really provided the Grizzlies a considerable boost lately has been an uptick in offensive execution. Over the last seven games, they have posted a 119.5 offensive rating, which trails only the Utah Jazz (125.2) and Dallas Mavericks (120.1).

The Grizzlies have particularly thrived when they have had the trio of Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Dillon Brooks on the floor together. During the 126 minutes they have played together during the winning streak, Memphis has posted a 129.1 offensive rating.

It’s easy to see why the Grizzlies’ offensive output has been so strong with that trio. The offensive efficiency has been strong overall, but particularly, perimeter shooting has been impressive as Brooks and Jackson have combined to shoot 48-of-105 (45.7%) from deep.

There has been a significant balance in the Grizzlies’ scoring as well. There have been six players with a scoring average in double-figures during this period including the following; Brooks (21.1), Morant (19.3), Jackson Jr. (18.6), Valanciunas (17.3), Crowder (10.5), and Clarke (10.3).
