The Detroit Pistons are in a position this season that it makes sense to capitalize on veterans with trade value ahead of the Feb. 6 deadline. Derrick Rose is arguably on the top of that list.

There are a lot of teams around the league taking an interest in the idea of acquiring Rose. In fact, the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers have ‘expressed interest’ in trading for him.

It has been an impressive season for Rose with averages of 18.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists off the bench. His production would be a luxury for any contender’s bench unit.
