3. The Spurs Could Use A Younger Stretch-Five
LaMarcus Aldridge has been one of the faces of the Spurs’ franchise over the past few years. Unfortunately, he is getting older and the team is not in a position to compete at this point in time. Moving on from Aldridge and bringing in a younger stretch-five would be the best move the Spurs can make.
Turner has extended his range to being able to consistently knock down threes. He has been unable to fully unleash his shooting ability with the Pacers.
San Antonio has prided themselves on moving the basketball. Gregg Popovich would be a perfect head coach for Turner to play under. If there is anyone who can help Turner unlock his full potential, it would be Popovich.
