3. The Heat Could Use More Defense
If there is one thing about Jrue Holiday’s game that no one seems to talk about, it is the way that he plays defense. Very few view him as a top perimeter defender, but the players that play against him are very vocal about how difficult he makes things on them.
Holiday isn’t going to receive the hype, but the Heat would be getting an elite defender. In order to make an NBA Finals run in the Eastern Conference, Miami is going to need a top-notch defender. Trading for Holiday would accomplish that for them.
