The Golden State Warriors have won back-to-back NBA championships and are the newest dynasty in the league. Their pure talent with the likes of stars, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have made fans and teams upset that there is not more competition in the league.
The Warriors brass didn’t make any new friends signing All-NBA center, DeMarcus Cousins to a mid-level exception, who will only help the Warriors once he recovers from his Achilles injury he had in late January.
As perfect and invincible as the Warriors may appear, there are flaws in this team. They play with a flair that would have the Showtime Lakers in awe, but at the same time, play with a bit of carelessness.
It is almost as if the Warriors know they can turn on the afterburners anytime they want, knowing that no deficit is too large for them to overcome with the supreme talent they have on the floor. The Warriors are entering Michael Jordan territory with an opportunity to put their stamp in the NBA history books again by winning a third consecutive NBA title.
