Finally, Toronto can offer Leonard the ability to play in front of an amazing home crowd. Leonard played in front of a crowd in San Antonio that is not known for their diehard love of the game. Very few arenas boast the kind of rowdy atmosphere that the Raptors’ franchise can offer.

Over the past couple of years, especially in the playoffs, Toronto has had more of an NFL type of crowd. Fans drink heavily and are louder than most arenas in the NBA.

Leonard may not care about the atmosphere of the arena, but fans would love him and make him feel more loved than he has ever felt with the Spurs.

Having a true superstar in town will be something that the fans in Toronto latch on to quickly. Following his drama with the Spurs, that could be a draw for him. Ujiri will try to sell him on becoming the face of a franchise that gives him everything he could want from that perspective and it could be a strong seling point.
