Celtics G Jaylen Brown speaks out on posterizing LeBron James

Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics were able to knock off LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers by a final score of 139-107 on Monday night. It was a strong showing for the Celtics, who appear to be one of the top contenders in the Eastern Conference once again.

One of the main highlight plays from the game came when Brown came down the line and threw down a nasty dunk over James, who was trying to block him. It isn’t often that James gets posterized, but when he does, videos seem to go viral.

That was the case for Brown’s dunk. In case you have not seen the dunk yet, we have you covered.

Following the game, Brown spoke out about his dunk on James. In a quote shared by Tim Bontemps of ESPN, Brown opened up about how it felt to dunk all over James like he did.

“Just being aggressive and made a play at the rim. I’m not gonna lie, it was pretty nice.”

Brown has been having a big season for the Celtics in 2019-20. Prior to Monday night’s game, he was averaging 20 points per game to go along with 6.9 rebonds and 2.3 assists. Those numbers show the kind of improvement that Brown has made this year.

All of that being said, Brown and the Celtics look like the real deal. Dunking over LeBron grabs headlines, but watching Boston play is fun and they deserve even more attention than they are being given.
