Why the Magic Would Do It: In this trade, the Magic would add a little salary, but they get a veteran center in Gasol who they can either buy out, or he can backup and help develop Bamba. Then they get two second-round draft picks for the future.

Why the Spurs Would Do It: The Spurs want to stay competitive in Greg Popovich’s final seasons. They need more shooting and Vucevic would give them that, plus be an upgrade over Gasol at center. A starting frontcourt of Vucevic and LaMarcus Aldridge would be deadly.
