Los Angeles Lakers: 3 Improvements Needed for Kyle Kuzma in 2018-19

Kyle Kuzma took the NBA by storm during Summer League last season with the Los Angeles Lakers. After being drafted with the No. 27 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Kuzma became a big piece of the future for the young Lakers. Now, he is going to be one of the biggest supporting cast members of the team around LeBron James.

Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have done an amazing job of putting a talented, young team around James. They drafted well last year with Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, and Josh Hart, and also have an extremely talented forward in Brandon Ingram. Adding James has put the Lakers back on the map in the NBA.

During the 2017-18 NBA season with the Lakers as a rookie, Kuzma ended up averaging 16.1 points per game to go along with 6.3 rebounds. He shot 45.0 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 36.6 percent of his three-point attempts.

Those numbers show just a bit of how talented Kuzma is and how good he is capable of becoming.

At 23 years old, the sky is the limit heading into the 2018-19 season. Kuzma is going to be asked to take the next step for the Lakers to give James an even bigger weapon to work with.

All of that being said, what three bold predictions can be made for Kuzma heading into the 2018-19 NBA season?
